About Fletcher Cove Beach Park
Fletcher Cove Beach Park is the main public beach access in the city of Solana Beach in northern San Diego County, at the foot of Plaza Street where Lomas Santa Fe Boulevard meets the bluff edge. A small notch in the sandstone bluff gives the cove its sheltered shape. The Fletcher Cove Community Center sits on the bluff directly above, and a lifeguard tower stands at the bluff edge. Tide Beach Park lies a half mile north along Solana Vista Drive at its intersection with Pacific Avenue, and the Swami's State Marine Conservation Area boundary at the Solana Beach city line runs just north of Tide Beach Park, leaving Fletcher Cove Beach Park south of that line and outside the SMCA.
