About Sund Rock Marine Preserve
Sund Rock Marine Preserve sits on the west shore of Hood Canal near Hoodsport, on a stretch of private waterfront that opens to divers by reservation. A beach entry drops onto a shallow rocky bench that steps off into two main walls, known as the north wall and the south wall, bottoming near 70 to 80 feet. Additional wall structure continues past 100 feet. A reef-like area called the fish bowl and a large sunken boat sit on the north end of the site.
